Echo the Beat: Rhythm Memory Game

Listen to a rhythm and tap it back with Space, touch or mouse. Play ten free patterns and compare your timing with the original beat by beat.

How to play

Listen to the pattern, then repeat the gaps between beats. Your first tap starts the response; the delay before it does not affect your score. After answering, replay the reference and your rhythm.

How the challenge grows

Short patterns grow into longer sequences with uneven gaps. Remembering a phrase becomes more useful than remembering a single tempo.

One thing to try

Group the pattern into short and long gaps. On the result, aligned first beats make it easier to see where your response runs ahead or falls behind.

What your result means

Ten rounds add up to an Instinct Score of 0–1000. Round limits rise from 40 to 220 points. Instinct’s Core separately measures how accurately you predicted your rank; it waits for at least 30 other comparable attempts. These games are informal benchmarks, not a diagnostic assessment.
